Lobby Stairs
In the lobby area, admire the two impressive cantilever staircases, a true architectural and engineering jewel. Its original staircase, with a unique and precise cut, is a testimony to the ingenuity of the eighteenth century, when the building served as the Royal Hospital of San Juan de Dios. These stairs are impressive not only for their beauty, but also for their technical precision that makes them a masterpiece of their time.

Patio del Rincón Suite "Window"
If you choose Suite 219, in the bedroom area you will discover a “window” with an original grille, hand-forged in steel at the end of the 19th century. This “window”, which at the time served to ventilate the boilers brought from England, is a historical testimony to the space it once occupied. From there you can enjoy the gardens of the old Episcopal Palace, adding a touch of history and charm to your stay.

Arches
In several rooms of the hotel you can admire the original arches that were rediscovered during the last renovation, when the covering was removed, revealing the historical structure of the building. These arches, now integrated as decorative elements, give character and authenticity to each room. A clear example of this is room 221, the smallest room in the hotel, where the vault is given special prominence, enhancing the atmosphere with its historical charm.

Original niche
Room 114 preserves an original niche in the bathroom, built during the 1885 remodeling directed by the engineer Sorinne. This niche, made of quarry stone and of remarkable size, stands out for its design and is now an essential part of the decoration of the room, combining history and elegance in a single space.
